echo park third place working group

We are a group of members of the community who want to increase the third-place-ness of Echo Park. That means, de-gentrifying it, carving out communal autonomy, cultivating a mix of spaces that are (a) free to members of the community and the public; (b) affordable to lower-income folks; (c) designed with the central focus of communal enjoyment, as opposed to serving capitalism.
